Small Tower Vase / White Ochre

Beautiful in its simplicity, the Tower vase is thoughtfully crafted in our Melbourne workshop. Made from recycled clay, glazed by hand and fired in a solar-assisted electric kiln, no two vases are alike. Designed to sit together, in tall and short groupings, the vase is strong and sturdy enough to hold large foliage. Filled with flowers, or quietly sitting alone, the tower vase makes for a striking decorative vessel.

The Australian Made Canvas dinnerware was developed with Chefs in mind.The surface and reactiveness of the glaze provides the perfect ‘canvas’ for food presentation. It’s the subtle reactions in the glaze and smooth surface that gracefully showcase the produce, the food is the hero.The fact that the plates are designed to withstand the rigors of a busy kitchen are fundamental to the range’s success. With its smooth rim and strong body (fired at 1240C), the final product is super strong, oven, dishwasher, and microwave safe.

Up to 6 skilled craftspeople are involved in creating a single piece with many of the artisans honing their skills at Robert Gordon over the years.
